Smokettes Hockey Tournament

Rossland! Come watch some great recreational hockey at the Rossland Arena this weekend! There is a Women's division, Men's Division, and Seniors' Division.

The concession is open, lounge is open, and lots of prize opportunities for players and fans!

The Smokettes tournament helps us raise money to help out the community in many ways. In 2017, the team donated:
-2 sets of nets of the Rossland arena so that our youngest hockey players can learn the game by playing “cross ice” allowing twice as many kids learning and having fun;
-$500 to the Trail Food Bank;
-$500 to the Rossland Recreation Youth Bursary.
-$250 to the Rossland Volunteer Fireman Christmas hamper.
-$500 Scholarship at J.L. Crowe
-$500 to the Rossland Figure Skating Club
-$250 to the Rossland Food Bank
-$2,000 to the Trail FAIR Society “Building Beautiful Babies” program for new mothers.
-2 Hockey sledges for the Trail Memorial Arena (Cominco Arena) so people with disabilities in the community can experience the game of hockey.
