Common Ground Yoga Series

Tuesdays Sep 10 to Apr 1 6:45 to 8:00 pm

In this 8-week series, we will explore the roots of the yogic philosophy and concepts of revolutionary love, as possible lenses to navigate an ever-changing world. You are invited to deepen your practice of alignment-based yoga, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, mythology and Ayurvedic-inspired rituals and practices, so that we may tenderly sit with the parts of ourselves that are implicated and/or impacted by systems of harm, and begin to move forward from common ground, rather than division and polarity. This series is intended to deepen your practical knowledge of bio-mechanics and alignment principles, build strength and flexibility, and invigorate breath and meditation techniques, while gazing through the lenses of that which unifies us: -wonder/curiosity -love -grief -rage -labour/action -imagination -rest -joy Tuesdays, 6:45-8:00 PM *Starts Sept. 10th Instructor: Danielle Hachey 200 HR RYT, Certified Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher, Pre and Post Natal Certified, Embodied Social Justice Certificate
