Since the toxic drug crisis was declared a public health emergency in B.C. in 2016, over 11,000 people, including over 2,000 young people under 30 years of age, have lost their lives to toxic drugs in the province. In fact, unregulated drug use has been the leading cause of unnatural death among youth since 2017. Parents are concerned. Young people are concerned. But where do they turn?
