RMFF Speaker series

RMFF is excited to announce the second instalment of our speaker series, this year being held at the Josie Hotel with drink and food specials celebrating their five year anniversary. This year's speakers include: Chis Lawrence - Freeride mountain biker pioneer sharing stories and experiences from the early days of free ride mountain biking in BC and beyond Mike Weigly - Backcountry guide and relentless split boarder talking about chasing his passion and dreams in the mountains Keith Robine - Keith has been teaching and guiding for 30+ years. Keith is an author on all three books used for avalanche education in Canada: the Avalanche Skills Training Handbook & both the AST 1 and AST 2 Instructor Manuals. Keith has worked his way down the corporate ladder. He started as an Environmental Engineer in San Francisco. Keith is now in the enviable position of avalanche instructor/guide and counsellor/therapist with a private practice based out of the Madhu Collective in Rossland, BC.
