Topics: • Thinking like an animal • How electric fence works • Voltage testers • Solar, battery, and plug-in fencers • Grounding rods and lightning diverters • Hot wires and insulators • Portable, permanent, and winter options • Training wildlife and livestock Bio: Andrew Bennett and Caley Mulholland started Moon Gravity Farm in 2011 and have spent the last dozen years learning many practical lessons (mostly the hard way) while growing gardens, building soil, and raising livestock and three young boys. As an agrologist and owner of Living Lands Agroecology, Andrew works with several programs to advise farms across southeast BC.
