Our first movie, “The Princess Bride”, is a classic fairy tale comedy, with swordplay, giants, an evil prince, a beautiful princess, and yes, some kissing. A grandfather reads the book "The Princess Bride" to his grandson who is at home sick. The grandson is sure he won't like the story, as it’s romance and he prefers something with lots of action and "no kissing". Buttercup is a farm girl who must marry Prince Humperdinck of Florian, even though she doesn’t love him. She still mourns the death of her one true love, Westley, who went away to sea, only to be killed by the Dread Pirate Roberts. But before she can be married Buttercup is kidnapped by a band of bandits: clever Vizzini, a giant named Fezzik, and expert swordsman Inigo Montoya. Hot on their heels is the infamous Dread Pirate Roberts, followed by the Prince and his men. What will happen to Buttercup? Will the Prince get her back by force or ransom? Why is the Dread Pirate Roberts chasing them? And what will the grandson think of the story in the end? “The Princess Bride” is a movie beloved by “grown-ups” that you’ll now get to share in a big screen experience with your kids. “Children can see it as a bright, frothy adventure while adults will appreciate the subtlety and the sheer wit.” - William Gallagher, BBC.com Watch the trailer
