Bear Aware Event

Hey everyone! It's spring time and most of you may know we have hungry bears waking up. There is an organization called the Sunshine Coast Bear Alliance who is hosting a free bear aware event this upcoming Wednesday from 7-8pm via Zoom. I strongly encourage new to towners who may not have experience cohabiting with black bears to attend, although I'm sure it will be useful knowledge for deep rooted Rosslanders as well. I also wanted to let everyone know Rossland has a Bear Smart Task Force who is working on some public engagement events, so stay tuned!
