Outdoor Artisan Market at the Museum

Saturday September 25 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Sunday September 26 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

Join us on the last weekend of September, 25th and 26th, as we kick off the national Culture Days celebrations with our annual outdoor Artisan Market! From 11 am to 4 pm all weekend, wander about the museum property to check out Kootenay artisans and vendors and celebrate the beauty and creativity fostered in this region. Shop from local artisans offering prints and photographs, handmade ceramics, or unique hand-made jewelry. This year's Culture Days' theme is "Re:Imagine: exploring new ideas and innovation in arts and culture while committing to building tangible change in the sector and society."

We will be adhering to COVID-19 protocols to keep everyone safe and comfortable. Masks are required for entry inside the museum and strongly recommended for exploring the outdoor market. This event is subject to public health order changes.

Admission is free, but donations are always appreciated!

This event is supported in part by Tourism Rossland, FortisBC, the Columbia Basin Trust, and the Nelson & District Credit Union.

The Museum is open year-round! Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm. Check out our website or find us on Facebook & Instagram.
