Bollywood comes to the Silver Screen Drive-in!

Two married couples with the same surname are unsuccessful in conceiving and seek medical treatment through in-vitro fertilization. However, they end up in a complicated situation after their doctor makes a blunder.

Varun and Deepti Batra (Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor), a posh married Mumbai-based couple are unable to conceive a baby. With her biological clock ticking, Deepti and Varun end up at a high-end IVF clinic run by Dr Joshi and his wife who expertise in delivering 'good news'. The twist in the tale arrives when after few days of the procedure, Varun and Deepti are told that there is a sperm mix-up with another couple who too are named Batras (Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani). What follows next is a clash of sensibilities as the two couples weigh their options and gate crash each other’s lives!

About the Silver Screen Drive-in

The Trail & District Arts Council and The Royal Theatre have joined forces to imagine your new, favourite summer experience, the Silver Screen Drive-in. Running from June to September, films will screen Thursday through Saturday at sunset in the Waneta Plaza upper parking lot. Upcoming films will include those event movies that you’ve missed seeing on a big screen, retro classics from comedy to horror, as well as those Sunday Cinema favourites been as well as Oscar winning independent films and documentaries. Plus, live performances of music, theatre, dance and more!
