National Indigenous Peoples Day @ Museum

June 21 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Monday, June 21st is #NationalIndigenousPeoplesDay! Stop by the museum to check out a brand new Sinixt təmxʷúlaʔxʷ (homeland) map panel courtesy of the Autonomous Sinixt, Blood of Life Collective, and Maa Press - there are also copies for sale in the gift shop. We’re open by donation for the day!

We'll have a few kid-friendly activities available to celebrate the day and the wide-ranging and resilient cultures of the First Nations peoples, Metis, and Inuit.

Find out more about the Sinixt and some additional ideas and resources for Indigenous History Month on our website: https://www.rosslandmuseum.ca/news/indigenoushistorymonth

We will also be open by donation on St. Jean Baptiste Day, Canadian Multiculturalism Day, and Canada Day.

Be sure to keep an eye on our social media for great resources, recipes, and more.
