The Museum is open year-round!
Summer Hours (to September 4th) - Daily - 10 am to 6 pm
Daily Outdoor Tours at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm followed by Gold Panning demonstrations (capacity is limited; please call ahead)
Important COVID-19 Protocol Notes:
- Limit of 50 people in the museum as long as physical distancing of 2 metres (6 feet) can be maintained
- Follow specific guidance posted throughout the facility for restrictions in the visitors centre, gift shop, etc.
- If you are feeling ill, do not enter the museum
- Masks are required inside the museum
- Staff will require a first name and phone number per person/party for contact tracing purposes

- Le Roi Tool Warehouse
- Roger Terhune Geology Building
- Research support is available by appointment
- Visitor Centre & Gift Shop (public washrooms and free wi-fi)
Some of our interactive exhibits will remain closed or altered to ensure sanitizing is possible.
School/Group Tours and Facility Rentals within or outside of regular hours are available throughout the year.
