NOW Streaming: The Myrtle Sisters: Out of Time - 6 Beats Apart

May 21 to 29 6:00 to 9:00 pm

Trail & District Arts Council presents The Myrtle Sisters as part of the 6 Beats Apart series.

Join the Myrtle Sisters on their quirky adventure as they thrill and entertain you with a mix of singing, dancing, music, comedy and physical theatre. Fun for the whole family.

The Myrtle Sisters are traveling through time from the year 1919 collecting and sharing historical songs and dance hits from the 20’s, 30s and 40s when something goes wrong! They’ve gone further into the future than they’ve ever been. Can the time machine be fixed?

Stuck in the 21st century, the sisters decide to perform their numbers and collect data by trading with their new audience - dance crazes from the Charleston to the Shim-sham for ones from the current times!

Will the Myrtle Sister’s ever get along? Can the audience help them harmonize once again and get back to 1919? A story of independence and togetherness, the sisters learn that they don’t always have to agree, but that they are stronger together.

“A real-life version of the Triplets of Belleville.”

“The Myrtle Sisters Show is steeped in creativity and talent.”

“Nothing less than inspired insanity.”

Family programming. Suitable for kids 4-12 years old.
