Small Town Artillery Live @ Fuel

August 1 8:00 pm

Stopping through on their way to Kaslo Jazz Festival, Small Town Artillery bring the full band to the patio of Fuel Gastropub And Diner for an evening of heart & rock on Thursday, August 1st.

About STA:
Small Town Artillery is a high-energy rock band with a horn section, originally from Kaslo, British Columbia. On record, they are high-fidelity, honest, and endlessly melodic. On stage, they are a maelstrom of energy and showpersonship. They've headlined Imperial Vancouver, The Rio Theatre, The Cultch's Historic Theatre, as well as 5 blitzkrieg tours of British Columbia and counting. Founding members & blood brothers Tom & Derek van Deursen have been playing music together for 20 years. Tom is also a founding member of The Boom Booms, and brings his extensive experience of marketing, management & performance to STA. The band is rounded out by Carson Webber on Bass, Mike Kayser on Trombone, Nathan Barrett on Trumpet, and Ashley Robyn & Chelsea Kathleen on vocals/percussion. They are signed to JumpAttack! Records out of East Van, and their latest release, "Don't Talk Away The Magic" won an Akademia Award (LA) for "Best Rock Album August 2018". With a slew of festival & club dates on the board for 2019 (including prime slots at Kaslo Jazz Fest, Edge Of The World Fest on Haida Gwaii, and the Vancouver Fireworks), and a recent signing with Paquin Artists Agency, this band is set to enter the national & international phase of it's career.

Timothy Hurley & The Vultures will be opening up the night :)
