Celebrate Canada at the Rossland Museum

Come and join the Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre and community of Rossland in our 2019 Celebrate Canada Celebrations!

Entry is by donation each of these days 10am to 6pm!
June 21st - National Indigenous Peoples Day
June 24th - St. Jean Baptiste Day
June 27th - Canadian Multiculturalism Day
July 1st - Canada Day Celebrations (by donation 10am-10pm)

June 28th - 30th 3rd Annual RED Teeth: A Mountain Wine Festival at The Josie Hotel and RED Mountain Resort

Canada Day Details: Monday, July 1st
We will have activities from 12-3pm for children and families including: Gold Panning, Trading Post, City of Rossland Touch-a-Truck, Yoga by The Nadi Tree and kid-friendly music by Jazzy Jo, Time Period Photo Booth thanks to costumes from The Rossland Light Opera Players, Outdoor Playscape with One Tree Adventures, Water Smart info booth and activity with the City of Rossland water smart ambassador, and more!

Sweet Dreams Heritage Inn and Cakery Canada Day cake & cupcakes will be distributed after remarks by Mayor Kathy Moore and a 2019 show highlight by Gold Fever Follies and the singing of O' Canada.

Following a beautiful afternoon, join us again at 6pm-10pm for an evening concert: Canada Day Celebration - Yes We Mystic w/ Under The Rocks + More - Yes We Mystic | Heartwood | Under The Rocks
19+ drinks for sale by The Flying Steamshovel, serving Rossland Beer Company, cider, and wine
A kid-friendly movie will be offered in the Cominco Theatre for the kids to enjoy!
Finally, a great fireworks show (weather-permitting) donated by Seven Summits Service and Century 21 Kootenay Homes.
