Rossland Green New Deal town hall

June 4 6:00 to 7:30 pm

Join the National conversation to define what a Green New Deal for Canada will look like. On Tuesday June 4th a a public town hall meeting will be held at the Rossland Public Library from 6pm-7:30pm.

The conversation about a Green New Deal for Canada must be led from the ground up so we are inviting workers, Indigenous communities, students, trade unions, migrants, organizers and others to share their vision for the Green New Deal for Canada, and discuss positive actions moving forward.

Please RSVP here: https://act.greennewdealcanada.ca/town-halls/rossland/

A Green New Deal is an ambitious vision for tackling the climate crisis, seeing the full implementation of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, the Right to Free Prior and Informed Consent and implement the TRC (Truth and Reconciliation Commission) recommendations, meet the demands of the multiple crises we face, and create over a million jobs in the process. It also includes government commitment to build a 100% renewable energy economy for healthier and safer communities.
