JOE HILL COFFEE HOUSE- SUNDAY, MAY 26
On Sunday, May 26, Joe Hill Coffee House goes all out once again with these five fine
acts:
Astrojet – Rupert Keiller’s new band, in their first public performance. (They just
won Best Rock Song at the Kootenay Music Awards.) Their roots run deep, their
sound is big. Watch out!
Rossland Ukulele Choir – Singing, strumming, a crowd of happy musicians. Fun!
Hannah Dueck – Acoustic bluegrass and folk, with meaning and a great voice.
Michael Gifford – Sweet songs from back when. (Love always wins).
Ucra Mountain String Band – Ian Johnston and friends from the Foggy Goggle
Boys. Rhythm, harmony, slick mandolin, lots of energy.
We’re in the Rossland Legion, 2081 Washington Street.
It’s a family-friendly venue – lots of goodies and happiness, no bar.
Admission is a mere $3 – kept affordable by our all-volunteer crew, and the generosity
of the Rossland Legion. Thanks to all! (Proceeds from Joe Hill Coffee House help
support the Rossland Council for Arts and Culture; proceeds from sale of goodies help
support the Gold Fever Follies.)
Doors open at 6:30 PM; the show starts at 7:00. See you there!
NOTE: Our last show this season is on June 16. Make a note!
