Free CPR & Defibrillator course

March 19 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

It’s that time of year again when the Rossland Seniors Assoc. sponsors a CPR & Defibrillator course.  We can accommodate 16 people per session.  Multiple sessions can be arranged and they are FREE . Refreshers are ongoing.

The number one killer of males in Canada is heart attack. It wasn’t all that long ago that males out numbered females in heart attack and stroke deaths; this his is no longer the case.  Females now outnumber males in heart attack & stroke deaths.

Learning CPR is one of the most basic elements of saving victims who are having a heart attack. Sadly, less than ten percent of our population know how to apply the proper CPR technique, and even fewer have any idea how to use a defibrillator. Fathers, mothers and teenagers are strongly encouraged to learn CPR and how to use a Defibrillator.

The Rossland Seniors Assoc. is trying to make a dent in recitation knowledge.  Sign up for a spot in one of the sessions and learn this valuable life saving knowledge.

Call Les or Violet Anderson at 250-362-5532 or text at 250-231-4573 to register your spot.  The date for the first session (probably Tue., March 19th) will be as soon as we get 16 people signed up for the sessions. We are working on organizing week end sessions.

Sessions at Rossland Seniors Hall - 1916- 1st Ave.
