Theatrical Workshop with Bushel & Peck!
Snow is falling — what better time to get silly?! Join Bushel & Peck Saturday, January 19th, at Miners’ Hall for a theatrical workshop focused on Clown, Physical Comedy, and Improvisation. You’ll learn how to master things like character creation, embodying emotions, and honouring those all-too-familiar winter impulses.
This workshop will help you overcome fears associated with performing, encourage you to explore the ridiculous, and learn strategies to connect with an audience. Learn how to converse with that inner critic. Build self-awareness, promote honesty and vulnerability, and celebrate creative play in a safe and supportive learning environment.
Bushel & Peck will be performing at the Charles Bailey Theatre the day prior to the workshop, giving participants insight into the mechanics of professional theatre.
