Paige Culley: Shapes presented by Performing Arts Trail

Paige Culley is a native of Rossland, who is a dance artist now based in Montréal. She studied at the School of Toronto Dance Theatre, where she received a scholarship for young contemporary dance artists from the Hnatyshyn Foundation. 

From 2011-2016 Culley performed extensively with Compagnie Marie Chouinard. Her work as an interprète spans collaboration with artists including Daina Ashbee, Danièle Desnoyers, Dana Gingras, Lucy May, Tedd Robinson, Marten Spangberg and Doris Uhlich, as well as within new media and music contexts. Culley is the recipient of the Hnatyshyn Developing Artist Grant for contemporary dance, the 2012 danceWEB scholarship at ImPulsTanz, and most recently, the “Découverte” award at the Prix de la Danse de Montréal.
