Can anyone tell me what the huge lights appearing in the western sky on a clear night (like tonight, the 25th). I appears to be two objects - one yellow and one white. Visible until around 9:30 pm. and sets over Mt. Roberts.

The brightest white star is Venus. Not sure about the other one – I'd have to go out and take a look.
I should say planet, not star.
